Los Angeles Dodgers cleanup hitter Teoscar Hernandez is more likely to land on the injured checklist after he was hit on the left foot by a pitch in Friday evening’s 3-1 loss to the visiting Cleveland Guardians, supervisor Dave Roberts stated.
The Dodgers stated Hernandez suffered a left foot bruise. X-rays have been damaging, and Hernandez will bear additional testing Saturday.
Requested how Hernandez was doing after the sport, Roberts stated, “Not nice.”
“He is as powerful as they arrive and will barely transfer his foot, so I do not see the way it’s not gonna be an IL,” Roberts stated. “However I am positive we’re gonna give it a few days to type of see how he comes out.”
