Kicker Graham Gano, who was on the harm report this week with a groin concern, re-injured himself chasing down Commanders’ returner Austin Ekeler on the opening kickoff. Ekeler scored on the play, which was negated by a holding penalty. He was dominated out with a hamstring and, because the Giants didn’t elevate Jude McAtamney from the follow squad, punter Jamie Gillan assumed the kicking duties.
Malik Nabers left the sphere within the first quarter and was checked for a concussion. He returned to the sport on the Giants’ subsequent possession.
Micah McFadden, in his first motion since injuring his groin in Week 1 of the preseason, went down within the second quarter after stopping Jayden Daniels for a loss. He returned to the sport shortly after.
Dru Phillips exited the sport halfway by the fourth quarter after being shaken up making a touchdown-saving deal with of Austin Ekeler. He returned.
Cornerback Cor’Dale Flott left the sphere final within the fourth quarter with an undisclosed harm and likewise returned.
