Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette has a “average” calf pressure and can miss “a number of weeks,” in line with supervisor John Schneider.
The Blue Jays formally positioned Bichette on the 10-day injured checklist Saturday with the suitable calf pressure.
Bichette, a two-time All-Star, was injured in Friday’s 5-4 loss to the Detroit Tigers whereas operating to first base as he lined out to proper discipline to finish the sixth inning. He was 1-for-3 earlier than exiting.
That is the third time Bichette has injured his proper calf this season. Friday marked his return from a four-game absence as a result of calf soreness.
