MILWAUKEE — The Brewers positioned catcher Gary Sánchez on the 10-day injured record and added Dallas Keuchel to the lively roster.
Keuchel began Wednesday in opposition to the Texas Rangers and allowed eight hits, together with two dwelling runs, and 5 runs (all earned) in 4 innings. The Brewers gained the sport 6-5 in 10 innings to finish a three-game sweep.
The transfer with Sánchez, who has a left calf pressure, was retroactive to June 24. He’s hitting .218 with seven dwelling runs and 21 RBIs.
Milwaukee despatched money to the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday to amass Keuchel, a 36-year-old left-hander who had spent all of this season within the minors.
