The St. Louis Cardinals positioned right-hander Nick Robertson on the 15-day injured record Sunday due to proper elbow irritation.
Robertson final pitched Could 19, and the transfer is retroactive to Thursday.
In a corresponding transfer, the Cardinals recalled right-hander Andre Pallante from Triple-A Memphis.
