HOUSTON — All-Star first baseman Freddie Freeman was positioned on the household emergency record by the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday.
Freeman was scratched from beginning lineup for Friday’s collection opener towards the Houston Astros and returned to Los Angeles.
“He is on the household emergency record, and I believe you may have seven days, doubtlessly 9 days,” Dodgers supervisor Dave Roberts stated. “We’re simply making an attempt to let him spend time along with his household and pray that issues proceed to enhance. I do not know his time, and I do know for me, personally, it was simply type of ready to listen to from him and when he needs to return again.”
Roberts stated after Friday night time’s sport that Freeman’s 3-year-old son, Maximus, was present process assessments, and he anticipated Freeman to overlook the collection.
