The Nationals and outfielder Eddie Rosario are in settlement on a break up contract that would earn him as much as $4 million, a supply advised MLB.com’s Jessica Camerato on Wednesday. The deal is pending a bodily and hasn’t been confirmed by the membership.
Rosario, 32, had performed with the Braves since July 2021 and was the NLCS MVP that 12 months en path to the membership’s World Collection championship. Final season, he slashed .255/.305/.450 and hit 21 homers in 478 at-bats for Atlanta. He performed 130 of his 142 video games in left discipline and accrued two outs above common at that place.
A fourth-round Draft choose of the Twins in 2010, Rosario broke into the Majors with Minnesota in 2015. He slugged 96 homers and averaged a 114 OPS+ for the Twins from 2017-20.
