The Blue Jays and veteran infielder Eduardo Escobar are in settlement on a contract pending a bodily, in line with MLB Community insider Jon Heyman. The membership has not confirmed the deal.
Escobar, 35, has been a couple of league-average hitter (98 OPS+) over his 13-year Main League profession, with above-average energy. However he struggled with the Mets and Angels final season, hitting .226/.269/.344 with six homers in 309 plate appearances throughout 99 video games.
