CALGARY, Alberta — The Calgary Flames signed right-handed-shooting defenseman Tyson Barrie to a one-year, $1.25 million contract Thursday.
The 33-year-old Barrie — a power-play specialist with 210 profession factors with the person benefit — got here to coaching camp on knowledgeable tryout contract.
Barrie had a purpose and 14 assists in 41 regular-season video games final season for Nashville, his second with the Predators. The 5-foot-11 197-pounder has 109 targets and 396 assists in 809 video games in 13 seasons with Colorado, Toronto, Edmonton and Nashville.
The Flames will conclude the preseason Friday night time at residence in opposition to Winnipeg and open the common season Wednesday night time at Vancouver.
