CALGARY, Alberta — Hockey Corridor of Famer Lanny McDonald was hospitalized Monday, a day after struggling a cardiac occasion whereas getting back from the NHL’s All-Star festivities in Toronto.
The 70-year-old McDonald wrote on a social media submit Monday that he had what he described as a “cardiac occasion” at Calgary Worldwide Airport on Sunday, when two nurses heading to their very own flights helped him when he was in misery.
“It is true that even powerful outdated guys need assistance generally,” McDonald wrote. His submit was shared on the social media accounts belonging to the Calgary Flames alumni affiliation.
“We’re eternally grateful for his or her care and motion … I owe them my life,” mentioned McDonald, who did not have the names of the nurses.
