Atlanta Braves left-hander Max Fried will return from the injured listing Sunday to face the Miami Marlins, supervisor Brian Snitker advised reporters Saturday.
Fried has been on the IL since July 21 with left forearm neuritis.
He final pitched for the Braves on July 11. He pitched one inning within the All-Star Recreation 5 days later.
Fried, 30, is 7-5 with a 3.08 ERA in 18 begins this season for Atlanta. The 2-time All-Star is 69-31 with a 3.04 ERA in 157 profession appearances (140 begins) with the Braves.
