ST. LOUIS — Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto bruised his neck when hit by a Zack Wheeler wild pitch within the seventh inning of Philadelphia’s 3-0 loss to St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday evening.
The three-time All-Star was faraway from the sport.
“We’ll examine him tomorrow. It does not appear to be there’s any damaged bones,” Phillies supervisor Rob Thomson stated.
