SURPRISE, Ariz. — Texas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung may have an MRI after experiencing left calf discomfort whereas fielding floor balls on Friday, the staff stated.
Jung, who turned 26 on Monday, is coming off a breakout season. He hit .266 with 23 homers and 70 RBI, making the All-Star staff as a rookie and serving to Texas win the World Collection.
Jung was chosen by the Rangers with the No. 8 general choose within the 2019 novice draft.
