The Tampa Bay Rays activated right-hander Drew Rasmussen from the 60-day injured record Wednesday.
Rasmussen, 29, who has not pitched within the majors since Might 2023, will be part of the Tampa Bay bullpen. He’s coming back from his third main elbow surgical procedure in seven years.
He went 0-2 with an 8.59 ERA in 5 video games (two begins) on a rehab task at Triple-A Durham.
Rasmussen was 4-2 with a 2.62 ERA in eight begins final season for Tampa Bay earlier than being shut down.
