Outfielder David Dahl is again within the Philadelphia Phillies group on a minor league contract, The Athletic reported Monday.
The information comes lower than two weeks after Dahl was designated for task by the membership and declined a minor league deal.
Dahl, 30, batted .207 with three house runs and eight RBIs in 19 video games with the Phillies this season. He has performed in simply 23 video games over the previous three main league seasons.
Dahl elected free company after he was designated for task on July 9. He was assigned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Over seven profession seasons, Dahl is a profession .268 hitter with 46 homers and 169 RBIs in 350 video games with the Colorado Rockies (2016, 2018-20), Texas Rangers (2021), San Diego Padres (2023) and Phillies. He was a Nationwide League All-Star in 2019.
