Ohio State soccer has a brand new operating backs coach.
The Buckeyes, who misplaced their operating backs coach to Michigan earlier this offseason, are reportedly filling the place by hiring an assistant coach away from their new Huge Ten rival.
Oregon assistant coach Carlos Locklyn is reportedly becoming a member of the Buckeyes employees.
ESPN faculty soccer insider Pete Thamel first reported the information on Monday night.
“Sources: Ohio State has agreed to a two-year take care of Carlos Locklyn to be the college’s new operating backs coach. He comes from Oregon and has labored varied roles at Memphis, Western Kentucky and FSU. 247 first reported deal,” Thamel reported.
Ohio State’s operating backs room must be fairly loaded in 2024. The Buckeyes are getting TreVeyon Henderson again and added a switch dedication from Ole Miss Rebels star Quinshon Judkins.Â
The Buckeyes, who’re coming off a Cotton Bowl loss to Missouri, are anticipated to open the 2024 season ranked someplace within the high 5 – maybe at No. 1 general.
