Buffalo Sabres defenseman Mattias Samuelsson will miss the rest of the season after he undergoes surgical procedure to restore an upper-body damage, the group introduced Sunday.
Samuelsson, 23, has been idle since enjoying in Buffalo’s 4-2 loss to the Anaheim Geese on Jan. 23.
He has totaled seven factors (one aim, six assists) and a plus-4 score in 41 video games this season.
