CHICAGO — Minnesota Twins heart fielder Byron Buxton left Wednesday’s recreation in opposition to the Chicago White Sox within the second inning due to proper knee soreness after an unsuccessful try and steal second base.
Buxton, who singled main off the inning, did not slide into second and was thrown out by catcher Kory Lee. Buxton walked off the sector slowly and was changed within the backside half by Willi Castro, who moved from third base.
An All-Star in 2022, Buxton was restricted to 85 video games as a chosen hitter final season due to a proper knee harm.
